Promotional Booking Policy

 

To ensure fairness and clarity for all travellers, Thrifty Adventures has implemented the following guidelines for all promotional or discounted tour packages:

1. Booking & Payments

  • Clients cannot transfer payments (including deposits or full amounts) from a regularly priced tour to a promotional or discounted tour.
  • To secure a promotional package, a new booking must be made and paid for in full or according to the stated promotional terms within the promotional period.
  • Promotional pricing only applies to new bookings made during the active promotion. No retrospective discounts will be applied to earlier bookings.

2. Discounts & Combinations

  • Promotional offers cannot be combined with any other discounts, including birthday or returning-client discounts.
  • A tour booked under a promotional deal is not eligible for any further reductions, credits, or offers.
  • Promotional packages are sold as-is, and their exclusive terms override the standard booking policy.

3. Availability & Deadlines

  • Promotional and discounted tours are subject to limited availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Once the promotional quota is filled, standard pricing will apply—no exceptions.
  • To qualify, full payment or the required deposit must be made within the promotional window. If the deadline is missed, the booking will revert to the standard price.

4. Modifications, Refunds & Transfers

  • Bookings made under a promotional or discounted rate cannot be changed, including travel dates, destinations, or inclusions. Any desired changes will require a new booking at the current price.
  • All deposits for promotional packages are non-refundable and non-transferable to other tours or individuals. If a promotional booking is canceled or altered, the deposit will be forfeited.

5. Birthday & Returning Client Discounts

  • Birthday and returning client discounts are not automatically applied. It is the responsibility of the client to request these discounts at the time of quoting or invoicing.
  • These discounts cannot be claimed after an invoice has been paid or during or after the tour. If not requested in time, the discount is considered forfeited.
  • These offers are only valid on standard tour packages and cannot be used in conjunction with promotional or discounted packages.

6. Important Notes

  • Promotional pricing is only valid for new bookings made during the promotional period.
  • Past or existing bookings are not eligible for retroactive adjustments.
  • Each promotion is governed by its own set of terms, which must be reviewed and accepted at the time of booking.
