Welcome to Thrifty Adventures. By accessing and using our website, making a booking, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Use of Website
This website is owned and operated by Thrifty Adventures. All content—including text, images, and logos—is the property of Thrifty Adventures and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
By using our site, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights or restrict the use of others.
2. Booking a Tour
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. To secure your spot, a deposit is required. Full details on deposits, payment deadlines, and cancellations are outlined in our Payments & Refunds section.
By booking a tour, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian.
3. Pricing & Packages
All tour package prices are per person sharing and subject to change based on currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, airline changes, and third-party provider rates. We reserve the right to make updates to tour pricing at any time prior to full payment.
4. Promotional Packages & Discounts
Promotional pricing is subject to availability and specific conditions. Discounts (such as birthday or returning-client offers) must be requested during quoting or invoicing. They cannot be applied after the invoice is paid or during/after the tour. For full details, refer to our Promotional Booking Policy.
5. Changes & Cancellations
We reserve the right to make necessary changes to itineraries, accommodation, flights, or package details. In case of force majeure events (natural disasters, border closures, insufficient numbers, etc.), we may postpone the tour. Payments will be carried forward to a rescheduled date within 12 months.
For client-initiated cancellations, our refund structure applies as outlined in the Payments & Refunds policy.
6. Client Responsibilities
It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid travel documents, including passports, visas, vaccinations, and entry requirements. Thrifty Adventures is not responsible for any costs or issues arising from missing or invalid travel documents.
Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow travelers, staff, and local communities. We reserve the right to remove any guest who behaves in a disruptive, dangerous, or disrespectful manner.
7. Liability
Thrifty Adventures is not liable for personal loss, injury, damage, or delays resulting from third-party services, force majeure, or client negligence. We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unexpected events.
8. Media & Photography
Photos and videos may be taken during the tour for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any images, please inform us at the start or during the tour. Shared media is offered as a complimentary service when available. No raw or unedited files will be released.
9. Privacy
Your personal information is treated confidentially in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We do not share your information with third parties unless required for the purpose of your tour (e.g. booking flights or accommodation).
