Sunday

Travel Day

  • Fly to Cairo Egypt from
    Johannesburg.

Monday

Old Cairo:

  • Welcome to Cairo and go on a City Tour to learn about the different types of oils, spices, clothes and cultures.
  • Visit a Papyrus factory and see how papyrus was made.
  • Visit Egyptian cotton stores
  • After a busy day you will enjoy a Dinner Dhow Cruise with food and entertainment.

Tuesday

Pyramids.

  • Enjoy the morning at the Pyramids of Giza.
  • Optional activities: Camel ride, quad biking, horse riding
  • You can opt for camel riding or horse riding in the desert!
  • Afternoon: Visit the Egyptian Museum (see Tutankhamun’s treasures!)

Wednesday

NEW CAIRO → AIN SHOKHNA

  • Visit the newer side of Cairo as well as the Citadel of Saladin and the Cave Church.
  • Afternoon: Roadtrip to Ain Shokhna (about 2hr drive)
  • Check into Hotel

Thursday

El Shokna Beach Day

  • We will spend the day at the beach.
  • Optional activities available include jet boat rides, jet ski, parasailing, banana boat and cruise on a yacht
  • Evening: Farewell Dinner
  • Late Night: Depart for the airport

Friday

Travel Day

  • Habibi!! Time to Say goodbye to Cairo!! Depart for South Africa
