What you need
- Passport with at least six months' validity and blank pages for stamps — you cross two borders on this trip
- No visa fees. South African passport holders do not pay for entry to Eswatini or Mozambique
- Travellers under 18: unabridged birth certificate, valid passport, and an affidavit from any parent not travelling
- Recommended spending money from R3,000, plus entry fees at cost
- Meticais or rand for Mozambique — rand is widely accepted in Ponta do Ouro

- Maputo Train Station and the Fish Market.
- Depart for South Africa mid-morning.
