What's included
Victoria Falls, Chobe and Livingstone — three countries in one trip, and our longest-running tour. Choose the flight package or the road package; the days on the ground are the same, only the travel at each end differs.
Most activities here are booked directly with the operators rather than bundled into the price, which keeps the tour affordable and means you only pay for what you actually want to do.

What you need
- Passport with at least six months' validity and blank pages for stamps — you will collect several on this trip
- Travellers under 18: unabridged birth certificate, valid passport, and an affidavit from any parent not travelling
- R600 per person in cash for the Victoria Falls rainforest entry — quicker than card at the gate
- Zimbabwe and Zambia use US dollars; Botswana uses the pula. Card machines are available when booking activities, so you need not carry everything in cash
- Any US dollar notes must be clean, undamaged and issued after 2013
- A rain jacket for the Falls, and layers — cold mornings, hot afternoons
Flight package — 5 days
Monday to Friday. Fly out on the Monday, and back on the Friday afternoon after a final night in Victoria Falls.

- Victoria Falls tour — walk through the rainforest to the Falls. Bring R600 in cash for the entry fee.

- Depart early by road to Livingstone, Zambia.

Thursday — Chobe National Park, Botswana
- Travel to Kasane, Botswana for a day trip into Chobe National Park.
- ★ Safari game drive through Chobe — the largest elephant population in the world.
- Farewell lunch on return.
- Return to Victoria Falls for your final night.

Friday — return to Johannesburg
- Morning: optional activities or leisure time in Victoria Falls.
- Afternoon: fly back to Johannesburg.

Transport. Scheduled transport is provided only for activities and locations included in the official itinerary. Transport for personal activities, optional excursions, shopping trips or restaurants outside the planned programme is not included.

Road package — 6 days
Sunday to Friday. An overnight coach out on the Sunday, and the drive home begins straight after Chobe on the Thursday — so the road package has one more day but one fewer night in Victoria Falls.

- The overnight road trip concludes and you arrive back in Johannesburg.
